A range of pastimes can be found close by, these include: Hill Walking, Golf, Pony Trekking, Cycling, Sailing, Skiing. There's an excellent Theatre in Inverness (The Capital of the Highlands), which is less than 30 minutes away by car. Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal offer many water based activities and 5 miles to the west leads to Cannich in picturesque Glen Affric where there are lovely walks through forests and across open moorland which provide the opportunity to enjoy all sorts of wildlife and unspoilt splendour.
How to find us: From Inverness take the A82 (Inverness - Fort William) road along the shores of Loch Ness to Drumnadrochit, a journey of approximately 19 miles. Fork to the right onto the A831 signposted Cannich. Some 4 miles along is Loch Meikle. Directly opposite the loch on the north side of the shore is the entrance to the Hotel and Lodges.
