Greenbank Country House is a lovely Victorian house which is quietly situated in its own grounds in the heart of the Borrowdale Valley. From the elevated site there are magnificent views of the valley and Derwentwater.
 Situated 3.5 miles south of Keswick, ideally situated for fell walking, climbing. The Borrowdale Valley is an excellent place to use as a base for touring the Lake District.
The rooms in the house are spacious and comfortable. There are two lounges both with log fires, with television. The nine bedrooms, two of which are on the ground floor, are attractively decorated and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and clock radio. All have en suite bath or shower and toilet facilities. Eight rooms are double or twin. Superior rooms all contain a TV.
Greenbank is a small friendly country house where people come to relax and enjoy themselves. Many people return year after year.
Dinners are no longer available at the hotel, but staff can recommend and book dining arrangements.
