Gwern Borter is a handsome Country Manor House standing in 10 acres of landscaped grounds, with beautiful ornamental gardens, organic kitchen garden, woodland, duck pond, pet's corner and many ancient cures from the medicinal herb garden.

We pride ourselves in retaining the Manor's 'Olde Worlde' charm with oak entrance hall and staircase, the magnificent oak fireplace in the dining room, tastefully furnished bedrooms with period corona drapes, a comfortable TV lounge and an intriguing collection of oils and limited edition prints.
All bedrooms have private facilities, colour TV, radio alarms, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities.
The Manor is idyllically set amongst the forests, rivers and lakes of Snowdonia. It lies at the foot of the TalyFan mountain between the award winning village of Rowen and Conwy, the finest example of a mediaeval walled town in Wales, with it's beautiful harbour and magnificent Edwardian castle.
Situated in the Court Yards the lovely traditional stone built terraces were once farm outbuildings - now tastefully converted into eight self catering holiday cottages and a laundry room with a Gymnasium, Sauna, a Children's Rustic Play Area and a Games Room.
This beautiful spot at the foot of the Talyfan mountain deserves exploring at a leisurely pace. What better way than on horseback...! Celtic hill forts, old slate quarries, ancient burial chambers, homesteads from the Middle Ages, can all be seen on our mountain rides from beginner to expert.
