Plas Penucha is situated in 2.5 acres of garden with surrounding farmland and looking out towards the Clwydian Hills. There are many walks in the area and the Offa's Dyke Path is nearby. Wildlife abounds, particularly all manner of garden birds, buzzards and red kites.
This unique farmhouse has been the family home since it was built over 400 years ago during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I (indeed, there was a house on this site before that time). Over the centuries it has been substantially altered and improved, but this has not detracted from the character of the house. As a result, while there is every modern convenience for the visitor, the atmosphere is spacious, warm and peaceful.
The house is near the A55 which is the express-way to the coast (20 minutes), Anglesey (50 minutes), and Snowdonia (70 minutes).
Chester is 30 minutes away.
The area abounds with castles and other tourist attractions.
There is golf, fishing and riding in the vicinity.
